FELCO began in Switzerland in 1945 with Félix Flisch's plan to make pruning shears and introduced the FELCO 2 in 1948. The range now includes pruning shears, loppers, pruning saws, cable cutters and powered pruning tools, with many replaceable components.

History. 1945 — Félix Flisch established FELCO in Les Geneveys-sur-Coffrane, Switzerland
Warranty. FELCO manual pruning tools carry 24 months against material and manufacturing defects; forged aluminium components carry lifetime coverage, while blades, counter-blades, springs and other wear parts are excluded. Powered tools and batteries have separate terms.
