History. 1946 — the predecessor company was established in Japan as a maker of educational art materials
Warranty. Pentel of America's lifetime limited warranty applies only to Pentel-branded products manufactured and distributed by that US company and bought in the United States. It excludes consumables such as ink, refills, lead and erasers, plus misuse, impact and wear; other markets and channels use their own terms.
