History. 1983 — Neil Bruce-Copp formed Targus in Barnes, London

Warranty. Targus's US limited warranty is product-specific and non-transferable. Laptop bags and backpacks generally carry a limited lifetime term for the original purchaser, with one year for incorporated electronics; most docks carry three years, while specified DOCK310, DOCK315 and DOCK430 units bought after 1 July 2024 carry five years; power adapters carry two years and most other products one year. Proof of authorised-retailer purchase and regional terms apply.
