History. 1938 — Sol Tiffen founded the company, later joined by Leo and Nat Tiffen

Warranty. Tiffen camera filters generally carry a ten-year warranty against manufacturing defects. IR and IRND filters and the listed Advantix and Apex XLE long-exposure filters carry one year. Proof of purchase from an authorised dealer and the full warranty conditions apply; sibling Tiffen Company brands have their own periods.
