History. 1979 — Paul Rowan and Les Mandelbaum created Umbra's first window shade

Warranty. Umbra backs its products with a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty for manufacturing defects for private residential customers. Glass, used or discount-retailer goods, ordinary wear, misuse, negligence, modifications, loss and disposed products are excluded; dated proof and photos may be required, and regional support channels apply.
