01 / Story

Swedish design, vertically integrated in Latvia.

Klippan Yllefabrik began as a Swedish woollen mill. The family company now designs in Sweden and owns a Latvian mill that handles much of the yarn preparation, weaving and finishing for its blankets and throws.

1879
Jöns Petter Magnusson establishes the woollen mill.
1992
Klippan begins building its Latvian production base.
Today
The fifth generation runs the family textile company.
